CHRISTOPHER SCIALES, M.D.
Christopher Sciales, M.D. is a native New Yorker who moved to New Jersey in 1989.His mother is a Pediatrician, his father an Internist and his grandfather was a General Practitioner.He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University and attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Following a year residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, Dr. Sciales completed his Dermatology residency at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey.He became a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology in 1992. Dr. Sciales is the owner of Livingston Dermatology Associates in Livingston, New Jersey since 1993 and the owner of Warren Dermatology Associates since 1996.Dr. Sciales is on the medical staff of Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey and Morristown Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey.He is currently Clinical Instructor at Saint Barnabas and the East Orange Veterans Administration Medical Center Hospitals.

JEFFREY M. WHITWORTH, M.D.
Jeffrey Whitworth was born in Pocatello, Idaho. His father is a General Surgeon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raised in Oklahoma, Dr. Whitworth graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After graduating, he completed an internship in General Surgery at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon.Dr. Whitworth then came to Newark, New Jersey for Dermatology training at the New Jersey Medical School.While in residency, he met his wife Dr. RoselineAhkami, also a dermatologist with Livingston & Warren Dermatology Associates. After completing his residency, Dr. Whitworth completed two fellowships: one in Dermatopathology (at the NJ Medical School), and the other in Mohs Surgery and Hair Transplantation (with Dr. Dough Stough in Hot Springs, Arkansas). Dr. Whitworth is Board Certified in Dermatology.He is also an assistant professor of dermatology at the New Jersey Medical School. He has practiced in the offices of Livingston & Warren Dermatology since 1996, currently performing Mohs Surgery and Hair Restoration Surgery.
ROSALINE AHKAMI, M.D.
Rosaline Ahkami grew up in Clifton, New Jersey.Throughout her childhood, she knew she wanted to be a doctor like her father, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist.She graduated with honors from Colby College where she earned her Bachelors in biology.She received her Medical Degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School in 1994.She completed her internship at the New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center.Before starting her residency, Dr. Ahkami spent one year as a dermatology fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. During her fellowship she was involved in dermatology research and published many papers in dermatology journals.She then completed her residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where she met her husband Dr. Whitworth. Dr. Ahkami is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She began her association with Livingston & Warren Dermatology in June of 1998. Dr. Ahkami also enjoys teaching the dermatology residents at the East Orange VA Medical Center, which is an affiliated teaching hospital of the New Jersey Medical School.
ALEXANDER DOCTOROFF, D.O.
Alexander Doctoroff grew up in Kharkov, Ukraine.He completed three and one-half years of medical school at Kharkov Medical Institute before political realities compelled him to immigrate to the U.S. in 1992. Dr. Doctoroff graduated from UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.Following a year residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center, Dr. Doctoroff completed his Dermatology residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic medicine in 2002.He also elected to have an additional training in dermatologic research earning his Master of Science. Dr. Doctoroff has been ranked first in his class among all dermatology residents in osteopathic programs in the country during the second and third year of residency.He has been the recipient of multiple dermatologic awards for excellence. These include Allergan Resident Paper Competition Award, Stelwagon-Kroll Award, Dr. Daniel Koprince Educational Award, and Dr. Albert P. Ulbrich Research Award.He is an author of multiple publications in national dermatologic journals. He joined Livingston & Warren Dermatology in 2002. Dr.Doctoroff is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, and is on staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
RICHARD G. LATHROP, M.D.
Richard Lathrop was born in Plainfield.He has spent his life in this tri-county area.His father and old brother were Pediatricians in Plainfield.He graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and received his Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1955. His postgraduate training included a year of General Surgery residency at the Philadelphia General Hospital, followed by a three-year residency in Dermatology at the Skin and Cancer Hospital of Philadelphia. The American Board of Dermatology certified him in 1963.His military service of two years was spent in Fort Lewis, Washington as a Medical Officer.He has practiced Dermatology in Plainfield, Somerville and now Warren since 1962. He sold his practice to Dr. Christopher Sciales in 1996. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, a division of UMDNJ since the late 1960’s serving as a preceptor for many students. He is on the Medical Staff at both Somerset Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. In 1981-1982 he was president of the New Jersey Dermatologic Society.
JANET M. COLE
NURSE PRACTITIONER
Janet M. Cole, RN, MSN-C, DNC was raised in Livingston, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Bloomfield College. She was the Head Nurse in a large dermatology practice in Passaic County for eight years and earned the Dermatology Nurse Certified credential in 1998. In 2002 she completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Seton Hall University and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed to see adolescent and adult clients and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses’ Association and the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. She is the recipient of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association’s 2002 Writer’s Award.
